About Allison Troxel
I am a passionate educator who hopes to teach and inspire students through an engaging, authentic, immersive language learning experience. I feel that my love for students and for the Spanish language and culture is evident in my teaching. I am always seeking to learn more, and to improve and adapt my teaching styles to best benefit my students. I have worked as a camp counselor for three summers which has taught me important child management skills. I have been studying the Spanish language since second grade and studied abroad in Spain to grow in my knowledge of the language and culture. I have also worked as a Spanish tutor for the college. I was on the Dean's list and also a member of Alpha Mu Gamma, the national collegiate foreign language honor society of the United States. I am currently enjoying my position as 4-8th Grade Spanish teacher at Horizon Science Academy-Belmont. I enjoy being able to teach a variety of ages and Spanish speaking abilities!
