About Allison Wright

I'm a passionate educator who currently works for the Department of Education in Queensland. My love of leadership and organisational culture, has seen me initiate and lead whole school change with a clear vision, a decisive strategic agenda and the ability to 'take' staff on the evolution of whole school change. My desire for life-long learning has recently seen my purposeful temporary shift from the schooling context to beginning a Higher Degree in Research as a PhD candidate. This move into the tertiary sector has given me the opportunity to enact change on a different level. Contributing to research is not only a desire of mine but it is also a moral imperative to give back and value add to the quality research surrounding leadership in our schools. What better way to share one's knowledge and passion for learning than to bring my currency of school leadership to the table whilst growing and evolving in my own academic learning.
