About Allison Y.

Having a background in psychology and computer science, I merge my user centred design methodologies and clean aesthetic to create elegant and memorable user experiences. I love listening to people’s stories and observing how they work. Design in healthcare has taught me about creating with user and business needs in mind, creative problem solving and understanding experiences in a holistic way. Who are the players involved? How do they interact with each other? What are their respective goals?In my career, I have worked with back- and front-end developers, business analysts, graphic designers, UX designers, human factors engineers, clinical researchers, quality assurance testers, project managers, physicians, nurses, pharmacists…to name a few. From ideation, concepting, prototyping, usability testing and production, I keep the user in mind as I design. Always up for a challenge, I seek to learn from everything I do.
