About Ally Arnold

Transforming the health of our communities and our planet starts with ourselves, and sometimes we all need a little push. Friendly competition, the joy of meaningful experiences, and recognition are what have consistently worked for me on my wellness journey, whether I'm running, rock climbing, or trying to consistently get up earlier in the morning. That's why I came to work at Wellable, an employee wellness benefits, rewards, and recognition company. It's a no brainer solution - make it easy to engage employees and their families! I believe that preventing chronic disease starts with daily habits, yet I know how challenging it can be to stay motivated every day. My current mission is to help Wellable bring its platform to more people around the globe, so that more people have a support system in place to help them on their journeys, whatever that may look like for them. Companies are facing unprecedented pressure to offer benefits for employees, and the cost of healthcare in particular can be a major burden for both the unhealthy employee and for the employer. More and more insurance companies are looking for ways to reduce healthcare and pharmaceutical costs, and Wellable is a leader in the industry. My previous work has centered around local food production and distribution in rural Colorado and Massachusetts. I have held leadership roles in two different food hubs working to pay farmers fair wages and deliver fresh food to areas off the beaten path. In Colorado, I worked with meat, dairy, value-added, and vegetable producers to market their products tell their stories. In Massachusetts, I oversaw weekly produce ordering from farmers, route management, and training of new employees and volunteers. Schools, hospitals, senior centers, and food banks were some of our most important clients.
