About Ally H.

I'm a design and product leader with over 13 years of experience in UX, product design, and user research across enterprise software, insurance, blockchain, and education. I believe that empowering team members is the foundation of great work, focusing on creating environments where UXers can grow, take risks, and deliver meaningful impact through close collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams. Previously, I led Product Design at TRAILS, working to help schools deliver mental wellness to K-12 classrooms. During my time as Head of Product Design at Unstoppable Domains, I worked on blockchain-based web domains and digital identity solutions in the emerging Web3 space. In my first role at Nationwide, I served as Design Program Lead for ThreeSixZero, an experimental D2C digital sales experience that reimagined insurance as holistic, bundled protection. I evangelized the team’s success by co-authoring design patents and an award-winning case study which was recognized at the 2022 Design & Innovation Global Awards. At IBM, I grew our Market Development & Insights organization's first dedicated UX function from 1 to 14 professionals, developing an internal AI-powered market intelligence platform that won Nielsen Norman Group's 2019 Ten Best Intranets award.
