About Allyse Pearce

Hello my name is Allyse Pearce and I major in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice at the University of North Texas. I work part time at the Robson Ranch Wild Horse Grill as a hostess with 3 years of experience within the customer service industry. I have always loved figuring out puzzles, how the mind works and why people behave the way they do. Not only that but I love watching forensic shows and FBI movies leading to my interest in forensic science and criminology. During my time here at UNT, I have taken a Behavioral Analysis course where I conducted hands on experiments with general behavior on other students. I managed a daily log over analyzed behavior and studied terminology over the course that I incorporated into my research. I have also taken a Counseling and Mental Health course where I learned about basic psychology and the scientist involved in early psychology. I researched scientific procedures and wrote a detailed analysis essay over the pros and cons. My work experience as a hostess at the Wildhorse Grill allowed me to come up with quick solutions and required me to interact with our customers. I have been able to build relationships with my coworkers and strengthen my teamwork and leadership skills. As a server, cook and cashier at Pizza Hut I was able to improve my ability to multi-task while simultaneously executing each job. With my major and minor I plan on furthering my experience to become a part of the FBI researching force or the investigative team. I also really want to use my psychology degree towards experiments in the military.
