About Allysha S.

I am currently working as the Operations & Digital Coordinator for Perth-based theatre company, Encounter. I am also completing my third year of a BA in Arts and Cultural Management at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). I have a visual arts background and have worked in multiple arts-related jobs, including my current role and previously as a painting teacher. I have a particular interest in marketing, engagement and private sector funding/philanthropy within the context of cultural organisations. In 2024, I joined Encounter Theatre as a development and finance intern, to support the creation of a donor engagement campaign, co-plan stewardship events, and contribute to graphic design, content creation, and grant writing. This led me to secure a part-time role as Encounter’s Operations and Digital Coordinator, where I oversee administrative responsibilities, marketing/content management, stakeholder engagement, audience engagement and visibility, and provide support for program delivery.
