About Allyson Hayes

Hi! I'm Ally and I graduated from Texas State University recently. I have spent years learning in different states at multiple universities, and I’m proud to say that I’ve found the right program and have enjoyed deepening my understanding of what I want to do - public relations. Coming out of high school and moving to a different state to pursue both my love for lacrosse and my desire to find a career path that I would thrive in was challenging and fun. After two years in St. Louis, I decided that being near Cardinals fans and being away from my family was harder than I had anticipated. I moved home and took a job in childcare, as I have always enjoyed working with children and families. Fast forward three years and I'm still working in childcare, now at an awesome school, while continuing my degree in Public Relations - something I fell in love with while in STL. I am so thankful for being able to be a part of a few amazing schools and really find my love for what I see myself doing after graduation. In the next two years, I anticipate graduating from Texas State with my Bachelor’s in PR and a minor in Diversity Studies. I am excited to finally be done with exams and to be ready to join the PR field. Currently, I am looking to expand my experience and broaden my horizons with a new position. While my expertise is mainly involved in working with children, I know that I am a quick learner.
