About Allyson Ladd

I am a dedicated nursing student with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a RN license at Northern Michigan University. At NMU I was one of 10 students accepted into the Freshman Direct Admission Nursing Program. Due to this honor, I was able to enter the RN program after only a year of prerequisites and will graduate a semester early. Throughout my time at NMU, I have made the deans list multiple times, been accepted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and received a clinical excellence award in Nursing Care of Pediatric Populations. Throughout my studies, I have developed a solid foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and healthcare systems, while also gaining invaluable hands on experience in clinical rotations across a various of specialties such as, ED, PACU, ICU, NICU, Labor and Delivery, IR, Oncology, Wound Care, Cath lab, Perioperative, Medical Surgical, Outpatient, and more. I am particularly passionate about Pediatric Oncology and am eager to graduate in December of 2025 and apply my academic knowledge and clinical experiences to real-world healthcare settings.
