About Allyson Rice

Atomic Focus Entertainment's mission is to create compelling original filmed content. We specialize in both scripted and unscripted projects, using budgets of all sizes. Currently, we're about to finish the FIRST feature-length documentary film about fighting book bans called BANNED TOGETHER. We begin our first private, pre-release screenings in Mid-Aug. This means that creativity requires calculated technique to transform inspired artistic ideas into moving filmed content. Every project, every idea, every new set of circumstances requires an objective and thoughtful approach right alongside the artistic approach. Research, organization, collaboration, and efficient operation are the companions to our technique. We are continuously producing original concepts and projects of our own to add diversity to the content which is brought to us for development and production. We are proud creators, writers, and artists. Partnering our ingenuity and collaborative sensibilities lends itself to a wealth of high-quality and market ready My novel The Key to Circus-Mom Highway was released in Jan 2023 to excellent reviews and a few awards. I narrated the audiobook that came out in June 2023. It won an Earphones Award for exceptional narration by AudioFile Magazine, the #1 source for audiobook reviews and recommendations in July 2023. Then I was nominated (alongside Bono!) for a Voice Arts Award (Best Audiobook Narration by the Author) by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences, SOVAS, in Nov 2023. Not too shabby for a debut novel and my first audiobook. Though finishing the documentary is my primary focus at the moment (so we can release it over the summer well before the 2024 elections), I'm also at work on my next novel, and continue to do mixed-media art and photography. If I can figure out how to set up a home recording studio, I'll then be ready to do more audiobooks for other authors.
