Over the last year and a half, I have worked as a very dedicated and hardworking freelancer. My most recent venture has been expanding my transcription clientele through Upwork. It is slow going but I want to build long-lasting work relationships that benefit both my clients and me. It has given me the opportunity to work with clients in a one-on-one scenario without an influential middleman. Before, I joined Rev.com as part of a general transcription team. There I have improved my typing speed from 30 WPM to 60 WPM on average. At my best I am able to transcribe at 70 WPM but it always depends on the quality of the audio. I have completed 1,400+ audio minutes with a 99% accuracy. Transcription has been what I have enjoyed the most and I would love to continue my work in this area. I entered the crowd source market around a year and a half ago by lieu of MTurk.com. There I practiced my data entry and participated in many surveys. It was tough going and the pay was low but it was where I found my calling, transcribing audio files. Before that I was a ghostwriter at Textbroker International. This taught me to flex my creativity while implementing SEO.
