About Alma Mitchell

I am a focused and organized individual that aspires to help make the community aware of the opportunities available to them. I believe that if people were exposed to culture, the arts, their gifts, talents and a better life, they would view life differently. You can't appreciate or value what you are not aware of. Our kids have not idea the value of family, the arts, culture, long time friendships/ connections. They have very dim outlooks on the future and very little aspirations. They want it quick and in a hurry. They don't understand the value of hard work and earning your way. We need to turn things around to help them see, value and enjoy this beautiful thing called Life. It is a gift that is only given once. The elderly have wisdom to share and children can learn a lot from spending time with them, which makes them feel needed and valued. A transformation of this generation needs to take place. Tampa, FL under Mayor Buckhorn has a great start.
