About Alo Chatterjee

Game development professional with broad experience in all aspects of the game development life cycle. Most of my work experience has been in startups as a Producer/Project Manager. Leading game development teams as an Producer gives me the perfect platform to leverage both my management education and engineering background. I enjoy working through the technical and human complexities of a game development project and managing risks based on (inevitably) limited information. Another important aspect of my work is talent acquisition and team management - identifying and attracting like minded individuals who are so passionate about their work that it's borderline OCD. Like programmers who would rather not sleep than check in a buggy piece of code or artists who would start frothing at the mouth if even one pixel was out of place! And if finding such people wasn't difficult enough, getting a group of such individuals to work together is like trying to herd cats. I have been an avid gamer ever since the era of the point-and-click adventures by Sierra and Lucas Arts and since then I have played a multitude of games across all genres. Thousands of hours of playing, analyzing and discussing games across various genres have helped me develop a keen artistic sense as well as an instinctive feel of what makes a game fun.
