About Alper Gokoglu

Alper is a Senior Manager working in the Tax Controversy team at EY in Melbourne. Prior to re-joining EY, Alper was an Associate working in the Disputes team at Norton Rose Fulbright, with a focus on tax controversy matters. During his time at Norton Rose Fulbright, he was a member of the litigation team acting on behalf of the Federal Commissioner of Taxation across a number of high-profile tax disputes involving hundreds of millions of dollars of tax in dispute in the Federal Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Before joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Alper worked in the Tax Controversy and Transfer Pricing practices at EY, and assisted entities, both large and small, across various industries with their tax controversy and transfer pricing needs (both compliance and advisory). Alper has also worked as a tutor at The University of Melbourne, teaching statistics and finance subjects, and interned at various law firms in Melbourne.
