About Alpha Behera

My expertise is in Clean Energy and system planning. I completed undergraduate degree in Electrical engineering from India, gaining unparalleled experience in the power production and distribution industries during my internships, which apprehended me with pollution and toxic release at the site and encouraged me to study Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), UK, in a hope to learn and to contribute towards the Smart Grid technologies development. During my study, I worked as a Research associate with European Union, Associate Lecturer with the Engineering department at UCLAN. My keenness towards innovation and business creativity led me to study Master's in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of New Brunswick(UNB). During my time at UNB, i was involved with amazing team members and mentors, who are always inspired to help the community with their innovative ideas and ventures. After I finished my second masters, I got offered to join Energie NB Power and work with an amazing team of extremely intelligent and supportive engineers, who has been encouraging me to strive and learn the current endeavours in corporate resource planning field for utilities in North America. In my leisure time, I like to do yoga, Zumba, socialise with the amazing community of Fredericton New Brunswick, explore beautiful nature spots & cultures.
