Government Flying Service (GFS)(Jul 2010 – May 2023) Aircraft Engineer, Airframe - Certifying personnel on handling the major aircraft maintenance including the hangar input planning, spare part procurements and Base Maintenance certifications (HKAR-66 Cat B1 & C holder) on GFS’s fleet - Search and Rescue helicopters (Airbus Helicopters AS332L2, EC155B1 & EC175B) and Bombardier Challenger CL605 (modified search and rescue version with EASA and TC STC)- In-charge engineer of a successful completion of a GFS AS332L2 Super Puma 15 years-inspection, starting from the planning stage to final certification (Category C Certificates of Release to Service on base maintenance). At the planning stage, I was responsible for analysing and defining the whole certification plan to comply with the Airbus’s Maintenance Schedule, liaison with aircraft manufacturer (Airbus Helicopters) for technical support and spare part requisitions to fulfil the project’s critical path. My in-depth technical knowledge and skillsets, together with my professionalism were well recognised by the Controller of GFS, as well as the team from Airbus Helicopters (Refer to Appendix 1 for the letter of appreciation from Airbus Helicopters)- Fleet in charge of the CL605 to control and monitor the hangar input plan, defects control and major check evaluations up to 48 and 96 months inspection. Design Engineer of Design Organisation (HKAR - 21) within the department. Analyze and evaluate technical problems of systems or components to developing appropriate solutions. Liaise with manufacturer on designing the aircraft modification/ repair to ensure the compliance of all applicable airworthiness requirements and regulations. HAECO Techanical Management Center - Development of a new defect management model named as Defect Management Group (DMG) to coordinate and manage the ADD of the fleet of Cathay Pacific Airways (CX) since March 09- Liaised and coordinated with different parties between MRO and Airlines (customers) to provide the action plans for defects rectification including aircraft scheduling and manpower balancing to comply with the defect life cycle HAECO Line Maintenance (Tech 2)- Excellent exposure in a well-known aircraft maintenance organization in Asia Pacific- Extensive experience in comprehensive aircraft maintenance checks on aircraft types Boeing B747-400, Airbus A320, A330, A340 - Demonstrate problem solving skills and analytical mindset in performing trouble shooting for aircraft system and provide value-added recommendations
