About Alra Amriel

Hello. My name is Alra. I was introduced to the world of business ever since I was young. My mother is a businesswoman. She was involved in various businesses such as providing food and beverage that is reserved for Indonesian cuisine, jastip (personal shopper) services and a Batik clothing shop. I grew up watching, helping and learning from what my mom was doing. My very first real job was what my mom had given me. I become a Sales Associate of Rantjang for International Bazaars. This experience taught me interpersonal communication and problem solving. It was exhilarating and fulfilling when dealing with customers. This also made me realize that I enjoy dealing with numbers. I decided to pursue a career in Accounting. I graduated as an Accounting major in Stamford International University in Bangkok, Thailand. I've gained valuable experience during my internship at Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok. Despite the language barrier between my co-workers and I, the atmosphere was both welcoming and friendly. I was able to achieve communicative terms among the accounting staff in less than a month which gave me confidence in my ability to work under pressure. After I graduated, there was a slight pause in my career due to the pandemic. This made me so grateful for Margono-Surya and Partners to have given me the opportunity to work. I gained hands-on experience such as Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable & Receivables as well as Tax Preparation. I've also acquired knowledge in finance while I assist which made me all the more curious.
