I'm Alta Thomas, originally from Denver, CO, now dedicated to my studies at the esteemed University of Utah. Currently in my third year as an intermediate-business BS major, I'm driven by a profound curiosity about the intricate world of business. My academic pursuits encompass a spectrum of disciplines, from marketing and finance to investments and global relations. As an active participant in the Global Business Scholars program at the David Eccles School of Business, I'm poised to seize the myriad opportunities it offers. I bring a balanced perspective rooted in practical experience, having served in many different applications of customer service. These roles have imbued in me a deep respect for the multifaceted nature of the business ecosystem. Growing up in a household of entrepreneurial spirits - both my parents run their own businesses - I witnessed firsthand how determination and vision can transform adversity into triumph. My father's leap into entrepreneurship, in particular, was the cornerstone that lifted our family from tough times, and it's this narrative that fuels my passion for the business industry.
