Background

About Aly Awad

I am a Facilities Engineer at ARASCO. My job entails coordinating the operation and maintenance of various facilities such as warehouses, offices, and factories. I use my Google Earth Engine skills to monitor and analyze the environmental impact of the facilities. This helps me propose solutions to reduce waste and emissions. I also use my presentation skills to communicate with different stakeholders, such as clients, contractors, and managers. I report on the performance and progress of the facilities to them. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. During my college years, I learned how to design and implement civil and environmental engineering projects. My graduation project was about designing a sanitary landfill. It involved conducting site surveys, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses. Additionally, I have taken part in several extracurricular activities, such as being an international judo player at the national team of Egypt. These activities have taught me how to be disciplined, resilient, and collaborative. My goal is to leverage my engineering and operational skills, as well as my passion for judo, to contribute to the sustainability and efficiency of the facilities I work with. I strive to enhance my professional and personal growth. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to take on new challenges and opportunities.
