Creating life changing opportunities for students + getting to use my tech/project management skills = best job ever! In 2023, I closed my consulting firm of 7 years after being hired full time by one of my clients, The Kentucky YMCA Youth Association. KY YMCA empowers over Kentucky middle and high school students with opportunities to use critical thinking, teamwork, writing, speaking, debate, professionalism and civic engagement skills each year in order to prepare tomorrow's leaders. As the technology lead, I not only work with an amazing and fun group of people, I also get to manage their website and over 20 other software packages that they use. In addition, I have the privilege of working with their leadership team and board members to help improve their business processes. Starting in February 2024, I undertook the enormous task of upgrading their custom built CRM system with over contacts. This year and half long project involves moving from a combination of a custom built Salesforce and FormAssembly system to a custom built portal and backend Hubspot design that will tremendously improve business processes and customer experiences. I am grateful the KY YMCA Board for investing in this project and hiring BluLeadz consulting firm to support this effort. It is a true pleasure to work with this outstanding team.
