About Alycha Boehm

Currently a doctoral student in social work, part time adjunct professor at Kutztown University & Clinical Supervisor at Valley Youth House. Co/founder of the new THRIVE program. This programs provides housing and therapy to adolescent survivors of human trafficking. I provide trauma therapy for survivors and supervise clinicians/evaluate clinical interventions provided in VYH’s housing programs. I also supervise social work & clinical interns in the field each year; both undergraduate & graduate. I often facilitate trainings in the community and collaborate with other organizations to educate others on human trafficking awareness, complex & vicarious trauma, trauma informed interventions, youth mental health, and best practices to support adolescent survivors of trafficking. I’m currently vice-chair of the Lehigh Valley Anti Trafficking collaborative. The LVAT collaborative is made up of organizations supporting survivors in the community who work together to lead awareness events each year in the LV area Current courses I teach at an undergraduate level include Child Development, Life Span Development and Psychopathology. I also can provide faculty supervision to students in their undergraduate internship placements.
