About Alysha Bridge
Primarily, I worked with young people with SEN and/or behavioural issues in a secondary school. Once I had gained a Level 3 NVQ and alongside my A Level results I was able to enrol on a University Course; Working with Children and Families. I gained a certificate in Higher Education (Level 4) then went onto study BA Hons Social Work. In 2021 I graduated with a first class degree in Social Work. Now registered, I have moved into the public sector to work with those with enduring mental health difficulties. I have recently completed a PG Dip in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with children and young people through an IAPT course at Northumbria University and I’m now working for Banardo’s as a senior practitioner in the North Cumbria mental health support team. I look forward to sharing my professional development on this platform.
