About Alysha Bryan

Student Ambassador, Programming Board Representative, President of the Honor Student Committee are all roles I performed during my time at Broward College before working as a Census Field Supervisor. Through each role, I learned something new about myself. Being the President of the Honor Student Committee allowed me to have an impact on students’ lives by setting up workshops and information sessions directly catering to their needs. Working on the Programming Board, gave me the freedom to create change and influence students through the creation of various events. As a Student Ambassador, I had a brand and imagine to represent. This gave me the opportunity to meet new people & provide them with information to let them know that the college is the right fit for them. Throughout my journey, I realized that all my jobs required catering to the needs of a certain group. I was helpful, developed a connection, and found solutions to problems. This is why I want to be a business analyst. I am the person who leaves a positive impact on the company’s goal and clients’ needs. The idea of being the small piece in a big puzzle inspires me. My work productivity results in one less worry by making a client’s life easier and accomplishing the company’s goals. There is no other choice for me except to major in Management Information Systems because making educated decisions based on data only leads to accurately delivering the needs and wants of clients. When I graduate Florida Atlantic University in May 2022, I hope to continue being the small piece that makes big puzzles whole.
