About Alysia Perron

I’m driven by the belief that a healthier, more empowered future starts with how we lead, learn, and live. True wellbeing isn’t just a destination—it’s a mindset and a lifelong practice. I strive to model that belief through my work, my education, and the way I support others in becoming the best versions of themselves. My professional journey began in 2009 in the mental health field, working directly with individuals navigating severe and complex diagnoses. These early experiences taught me compassion, resilience, and the importance of meeting people where they are—lessons that continue to guide me today. As I pursued my associate and bachelor’s degrees in Mental Health and Applied Psychology, I began to understand the transformative power of education—not just for academic success, but as a catalyst for overall wellbeing. That understanding inspired me to become an Academic Advisor at SNHU, where I helped adult learners overcome barriers, build confidence, and reach their goals. In 2021, after earning my Master’s in Public Health, I embraced a new challenge: bringing wellbeing to the workplace. As Wellbeing Program Manager on SNHU’s HR Benefits Team, I lead strategic wellness initiatives, foster a culture of health, and serve as the go-to resource for employee wellbeing across the university. I also extend this work into the classroom as an adjunct instructor for IDS-402: Wellness—helping students explore all eight dimensions of wellbeing and how to apply them to real life. I hold certifications in Wellness Coaching, Corporate Wellness, and Nutritional Therapy, and continue to grow my skill set to meet the evolving needs of others. I’m currently pursuing my second master's degree in Organizational Leadership, with the goal of strengthening my ability to influence positive, people-centered change at a systems level. Through each step of my career, I’ve seen how intentional leadership and a culture of wellbeing can unlock potential. My mission is to help create workplaces where wellness is not just encouraged—but exemplified, practiced, and woven into the culture at every level.
