About Alyson Gold Weinberg

Founder and President of Alyson Weinberg Consulting (AWC) since 1998, Alyson is an award-winning writer, credited with creating seed language for organizations' most important and highest-profile programs. Alyson’s insight, intuition, and keen ear for the crux of the matter translates into expertly written and executed materials, including speeches, editorials, websites, brochures, annual reports, message guides, internal memos, email campaigns, print ads, and radio and television PSAs. She scripts and directs videos and multi-platform live events for national nonprofits and corporations. Alyson's writing has appeared in a variety of publications and literary magazines, and she has authored or ghostwritten five non-fiction books—on such varied topics as conservation, executive leadership, and technical debt. Alyson earned a B.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing from the University of Maryland, College Park, and has completed graduate-level coursework in fiction and poetry at Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University, and the Skidmore Summer Writers’ Institute. Alyson also has been a poetry contributor at the prestigious Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. Alyson's play, Object Relations, received its live-streamed premiere production in April, 2021. Her comedy, Tummy Time, will premier at Capital Fringe Fest. Her poetry collection, Bellow & Hiss is forthcoming in fall, 2023.
