About Alyson Muse

I graduated from Kutztown University, with a BFA Communication Design. My passion lies within graphic design and illustration, as well as experimenting with animation. My work ethic has allowed me to try and learn new things and progress as a designer each day. Throughout my college career, I have held onto multiple jobs that have shown me what it means to be a true leader and a team player. From being a cashier at Rite Aid, to being an office manager with Ace Handyman Services, I can handle any role given to me. Over this past summer, I accepted a temporary position as a freelancer with Hanlon Creative, which helped me grow as a designer. I got to work with other graphic designers that helped me really refine my design and animation skills and the senior graphic designer to produce signage for pharmacies across the country. Along with all my working experience, I have held many titles in academic excellence. I started college at Luzerne County Community College, and received Dean’s list honors every semester, inducted into the English Honors Society, played three sports, and graduated with my Associate’s Degree with the Magna Cum Laude honor. At Kutztown, I have also received the Dean’s list honor for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters and graduated with the Cum Laude honor. I have become very skilled with the programs I have learned over the past four years attending school. In the beginning, these programs were so hard to adapt to and now they feel natural. I am skilled with using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and I continue to learn about Aftereffects. I am also familiar with outside programs like Microsoft Office and Excel, and Slack, as I used those programs a bit during my time with Hanlon Creative.
