About Alyssa Alba

I am a 2022 graduate at the University of Guelph-Humber honoured to have achieved a Bachelor’s of Applied Science, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Community and Justice Services. My experiences accumulates to 4+ years in the hospitality industry, thoroughly placed in a fast-paced and professional environment at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Brampton. It has taught me about communication, customer service, leadership, teamwork, and various management skills. I have been given the opportunity to complete a co-op position with Delta Security & Safety Services. Frequently engaging in challenging situations involving arrests, I apply my in-class knowledge I have learnt through theoretical terms and experiences others have given me to enhance my knowledge and understanding on the situation(s) at hand. I was a warehouse associate for Atlas Tools & Machinery. This opportunity engaged and taught me how to work as a team. Being in a team-based environment has taught me how to collaborate with others and to communicate effectively. The position enhanced my leadership skills towards a small team of individuals.
