About Alyssa Blom

The motto at Kuyper College, noted on our official seal, is "Ora et Labora"- Pray and Work, and it "represents the college's commitment to vocational preparation, discernment of calling, academic faithfulness and spiritual formation". This is a shared value at Kuyper and is something that all staff, faculty, and students come alongside of in our end-goal of pursuing our mission to "prepare students with a biblical, reformed worldview to effectively serve Christ's church and world". Though my role has shifted in the 10 years that I have been a part of the Kuyper community, my commitment and dedication to that mission remains consistent. I have a wide range of experience working in a variety of professional offices for the leadership and board of trustees of the college. These experiences have allowed me to gain excellent organizational and administrative skills, as well as broadening my written and verbal communication skills with people - including students, alumni, and donors & friends of the college. I strive to use my gifts, as well as build on my experience, while serving in my role at Kuyper and look forward to continuing to make an impact in higher education.
