About Alyssa Burlingame

I was raised in Hartland, WI and grew up knowing that all I wanted to do with my life was help people. The only way I knew how to achieve this immediately was by joining the military at the age of 18. I became a diesel engine mechanic and was provided the opportunity to live in Japan, Guam, and San Diego. This fed my love for travel and inspired me to explore several other countries. As a result of these travels, I have developed a great appreciation for different cultures, ways of life, and the personal life experiences of those I have had the privilege of meeting along the way. The Navy also pushed us to participate in community outreach and helped me realize I really enjoy volunteering. Upon departure from the military, I began to develop a passion for baseball. I remained in the mechanical field for around two years before I decided to apply for the Milwaukee Brewers, where I currently work. I love my job! Everyday during the season, I get to spend my time talking to people who love this sport as much as I do. It has allowed me to make connections I never thought were possible. One of my favorite parts about this job is that I get to meet all of the amazing people that come from all walks of life, everyday. Hearing their stories is a major reason why I have decided to continue my education and work towards a career in community relations. Going to work brings me so much personal satisfaction, and as the saying goes,"If you love your job, you never work a day in your life."
