About Alyssa Cohen

Colossians 3:23 says,"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." My drive to excellence in the field of taxation is fueled entirely by this verse, to serve people, exceed expectations, grow in knowledge, gain and enhance skills, and create meaningful relationships. I have been working with high net worth individuals and small to mid-size businesses, mostly in real estate, since starting my career at HKG (now Weaver) in 2019. I became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2020, and graduated with my M.S. Taxation in May 2025. Internally, I am passionate about mentoring our staff and cultivating a culture of inclusivity and opportunity within our office. Externally, I am passionate about providing excellent service and value to our clients and prospects. I share posts about our office culture and engagement with local communities, as well as our thought leadership on various tax topics.
