At TikTok, I am responsible for security program management and business operations. As the 'go-to' PM for complex projects, I effectively diagnose and simplify problems, identify strategic opportunities to enhance our security posture, and own the E2E solution implementation. Here's what sets me apart from other Security & Privacy TPMs- I am passionate about security & privacy by design/ default. I work effectively with product and engineering orgs to translate our compliance requirements into product requirements. I do not stop at delivering requirements- I roll up my sleeves and work directly with our PM's and engineers to prioritize enhancements to SDLC and remediation efforts without compromising their efficiency- TikTok has a very unique security & privacy regulatory landscape, which includes complex data sovereignty compliance requirements. I have supported regulatory readiness initiatives, and I have improved our regulatory inquiry response process- I have a strong track record of effective change management- in undergrad, I studied diplomacy and negotiation. I use these skills daily to unblock my programs, build relationships with the toughest stakeholders, and ensure my solutions are sustainably integrated into business and engineering operations- I am incredibly passionate about efficiency, especially in the GRC space, where risk and compliance processes can overburden product and engineering orgs. I have experience streamlining and automating assessment, assurance and reporting functions. I am able to manage resources effectively to do more with less, on tight deadlines- I have a strong focus on operational rigor: I lead without authority, ensure accountability across my stakeholders and I drive continuous improvement. I have an obsessive attention to detail, but I never lose sight of the big picture for how the security program supports our broader business objectives.
