About Alyssa Gee

I obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo in Recreation & Sports Business. At the same time, I completed a minor in Legal Studies. While attending Waterloo, I played on the varsity women's hockey team and successfully learned how to manage the pressures of performing well in school and competing in sports at a high level. Following graduation, I went on to complete the Paralegal Graduate Certificate program at Durham College which is an accelerated course that completes 18 courses and a placement over the time period of 9 months. Upon completion of my course, I was a successful candidate for a position at the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. During my time at MPAC, I wrote and passed the paralegal licensing examination and also became a Notary Public. In July 2023, I wrote and passed my CAPM Exam and scored above target in all 13 knowledge areas. In April 2024, I began working at the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, where I still work today, in the Corporate Services Commission as an Administrative & Project Coordinator.
