I am currently enrolled in the CPA program. My first position in accounting was for a manufacturing company as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. My role was to manage day to day collections, keeping the aging report current & clean from overdue invoices. I constantly communicated with clients & sales staff to ensure accuracy, solve collection issues, answer inquiries, provide reports, and meet client standards. I then worked as a Treasury Analyst at Array Canada (promoted from Accounts Receivable Specialist) & WW Canada Ltd. My main focus was cash flow, ensuring the company is operating within budget. I had exposure to financial reporting, foreign exchange risk analysis & hedges, asset classifications, daily banking transactions, tax filings & more. In Aug-19 I was hired by Tayco Panelink as a Financial Analyst. I implemented new policies, managed day to day accounting & was responsible for reporting accurate month end results through deep analysis. One year later I was promoted to Senior Financial Analyst. In Mar-22, I was promoted to Finance Manager where my objectives were to provide professional, accurate reporting while elevating my team to new levels of process development and high-level analysis. My goal is to motivate & inspire my staff to be the best version of themselves & to see how their efforts contribute to the overall objectives of the company. In Oct-22 I was promoted to Director of Finance & since then, have worked for the BRC Group where I manage 3 different finance teams from 3 different manufacturing companies across the GTA. I have a proven track record for providing transformative results through analyzing & decreasing cost, creating financial plans, improving profit margin & much more. I am dedicated to the growth & sustainability of each company. I am a very organized individual and like to prioritize my responsibilities which allow me to manage my time efficiently and delegate any tasks necessary. I have strong communication & analytical skills resulting in high shareholder satisfaction as I analyze data & solve challenges in a timely manner. I am very proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word) as well as G-Suite. I have a positive attitude and work well as a team & independently. I look forward to connecting.
