About Alyssa Hampton

A little about me. I graduated from University of Washington with a B.S in Biology. While I was going to school, I started working for Marine Layer and continued to push for opportunity and growth in the company. I am passionate about working for a company/individual that shares the same values I have, and prioritizes making the world a better place than we'll leave it. A successful workplace to me is one that values direct feedback, embodies diversity and equal opportunity, fosters a supportive and collaborative workplace environment with room for growth on an individual level, and is efficient and proactive with a total get it done mentality.with the occasional snack break.I am a strong Type A personality. I am organized, color-coded, and scheduled down to the minute to make sure I can fit in everything I want to tackle during the day. I yearn for straightforward communication and streamlined processes, to make the work life as successful as possible for employees and consumers. Working at Marine Layer has taught me the importance of flexibility, the ability to make strategic adjustments and to problem solve quickly and thoroughly when situations require it. Because life happens! In my personal life, I enjoy being active, reading, listening to podcasts and spending time outdoors. While I'm at a pivotal point in my career and future, I have set my intentions on finding a career that truly serves and curates my development as a person.
