About Alyssa Janes
I graduated from Ithaca College's BS/MS Occupational Therapy program in 2017/2018. After graduation I worked for 3.5 years in an integrated preschool setting providing OT services to preschool aged children and children in the Early Intervention program. I then spent the a year working at Allied Services in their outpatient pediatrics department where I have worked with infants, toddlers and adolescents ranging in ages from 6 mos to 17 years old. I now am an occupational therapist for the Scranton School District working in elementary schools K-4th grade. I have experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses and with a variety of difficulties including social emotional, sensory processing, fine motor, visual motor integration, gross motor, self-care, handwriting, feeding and more. I am currently licensed in Pennsylvania and New York and am registered through NBCOT.
