About Alyssa Meraz

I love getting to know people but, I'm not good at talking about myself. So here is a quick list about me. Ready set go! I grew up loving numbers, specifically statistics and financing ( my moms a math whizzed, so it made sense) 2. After graduating college for CSULB, I fell into mortgage for about 4 years. I learned a lot from conventional loans, FHA, and VA. My favorite thing about working in the industry was learning all the different requirements in order to get a loan completed. It was quite a rush, especially when you had to close files in a timely matter. I love working out! I believe that keeping a healthy lifestyle is the best thing you can do for your mind and body. When the rates started to increase (post covid), I was laid off. It was a stressful time for me;however, I stayed positive and kept moving forward. I was able to get a new job in equipment financing. I ABSOLUTLY LOVE equipment financing. To sum everything up, knowing at a young age that I wanted to work in financing helped a lot. I hope with all the experience and skills I been developing get me where I want to be one day and that to become a VP.
