About Alyssa Peter

Hello! My name is Alyssa Peter, and I am a Senior graduating in 2025 from USC’s Darla Moore School of Business, majoring in Finance and Marketing, with expertise in social media, organization, and content creation. My strengths include teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and I am well-versed in the areas of social media and marketing campaigns because of my experience as a social media and marketing intern at Colao & Peter Luxury Outdoor Living, a local landscape architecture design build firm. I’m extremely passionate about psychology and why people make the decisions that they do. This includes a lot of true crime shows and podcasts. This is what first drew me to marketing; once I am able to understand why consumers make their buying decisions, I am able to use marketing strategies that effectively create more leads. I was involved with the Sorority Delta Zeta, where I used my digital design skills to create unique game day pins and apparel. I enjoy giving back to my community and being apart of a big, intelligent group of women that all have each others' backs. I have effectively ran multiple social media accounts, including Houzz, Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook. I have used my visual design skills to create Instagram Reels, TikTok Videos, and even had a few of my videos reach over 20k views. I enjoy keeping up with trends in the ever-changing industry that is social media and content creation.
