About Alyssa Richards

I am a UX/UI designer with a background and degrees in sport management and graphic design. I strive to use my education and creativity to make an impact with a meaningful company and community. I am passionate about creating designs that impact others in a positive way. I recently have had the opportunity to work on a design for a baseball and softball coaching app. It was wonderful seeing my design iterations positively change user experiences.I have always had a love for art and creating. I have also always embraced my empathetic qualities. I enjoy combining the two to create meaningful work and designs that make navigating the digital world a bit easier and enjoyable. I use empathy and compassion to motivate and improve the outcome and quality of my work.I have skills pertaining to; brand marketing, communications design, user research, personas, low and high fidelity mockups, and wireframing. I am comfortable using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD. I am working on building my expertise further everyday.On a personal note, in my free time you can find me golfing, playing ice hockey, painting, drawing or doing one of the 70+, yes 70, jigsaw puzzles I own (It is essentially a puzzle library and it is amazing).
