Background
About Alyssa Soejima
I am a passionate educator that seeks to help address the gaps that exist within education. Issues that I hope to address include but are not limited to the English language learning culture here in the U.S, and issues that lie within the interaction of education and systemic racism, poverty, and the LGBTQ+ community.Graduated from the University of Florida in December 2022 Magna Cum Laude with a 3.93 GPA in Bachelors of Arts in Education Sciences with a certification in Teaching English as a Second Language and minors in Japanese, Anthropology, and Linguistics. Graduated from the Relay Graduate School of Education in May 2025 with a 4.0 GPA in Master of Arts in Teaching in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners.
