About Alyssa Some

With a background in public relations, my employment record reflects increasing responsibility, ability to multitask and follow direction, as well as in depth research skills and independent thinking. The overarching role I have held throughout my professional experience has been to ultimately help create, build and sustain a seamless strategy to ensure the success of campaign programs whether they are grounded in business, entertainment, or travel. As an Account Executive at PR DEPT, I built upon the foundation of my career by taking on greater responsibilities and running day-to-day point on all client accounts. I was accountable for developing and maintaining PR strategies for both traditional and social/digital media while simultaneously building long-lasting relationships with members of the media, our clients, and others for strategic partnerships. While at Warner Bros, I expanded upon my skill set and learned to take strategic publicity campaigns to the next level. In seeing the publicity landscape changing, I took it upon myself to begin to build relationships with social media influencer partnerships and engage opportunities earlier on in a campaign's lifecycle. I worked closely with the legal team to build out contracts that protected WB IP and ensure execution of agreements. After almost two years in the WB New York office, I left Entertainment to explore the opportunity within an Incentive Travel and Meeting Planning Firm - IME Connect. At IME, I have had the opportunity to expand my experience through exposure to contract negotiation, everyday client interactions, and strategic business program planning. When the COVID pandemic occurred, it allowed me the opportunity to re-evaluate my path. I honed in on the aspects of each of my previous careers I enjoyed the most and became very sure that law school was the next step I needed to take. I am currently enrolled at Temple University Beasley School of Law, while continuing to work at IME. This summer, I am working at Troutman Pepper in Philadelphia as a Summer Associate.
