From capturing the world through the lens of a camera to ensuring safety in the depths of underground mines, my career path has been anything but conventional. My professional journey began with a passion for photography, which led me to becoming a Professor at Cambrian College. While immersing myself in the world of imagery, I simultaneously delved into the mining industry, specializing in confined space rescue. This unique combination of roles allowed me to develop a multifaceted skill set. Driven to educate and empower others, I entered into instructional design, where I currently apply my diverse expertise to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Beyond my role as an instructional designer, I am an active mine rescue volunteer. My experience in mine rescue has equipped me with advanced technical skills and a thorough understanding of the mining environment, safety protocols, emergency response, and teamwork under high-pressure situations. Each step of my career has been guided by a commitment to learning, teaching, and helping others. Whether through the lens of a camera, in the classroom, or in the depths of a mine, I strive to make a positive impact and inspire those around me.
