About Alyssa Ventress

Telling the stories of those who may not have the voice, platform, or ability is what unites humanity. Through strategic pr and intentional content creation, I am cultivating a space of understanding and deeper connection. Public relations is shifting into a social media space, something I have had the pleasure of growing up with. From the early days of Myspace to the complex algorithms of Instagram, I leverage a brands image, reach, and voice through the many levels of content promotion. I am skilled in bringing the authenticity of organizations to local and national publications to promote the mission of those I work with. My story began at Washington State University, where I gained a rich appreciation for storytelling and its pertinence, through my journalism and communications classes. After graduation, I went on to work for PR agency Gal Media Group, where I learned the value of telling the story of those behind the brand. Now, I work for The Wooden Floor, bringing the heartwarming stories of our students to the nation. It is here that I have found my calling in nonprofit work, where I can exercise my skills while connecting with a community I love so much.
