About Alyssa Wright

I am a second-year occupational therapy student at Augusta University, driven by a passion for empowering others to regain independence and achieve optimal physical and mental well-being. I am also a proud alumna of Georgia College & State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration. My academic background in kinesiology has provided me with a strong foundation in human biomechanics and movement science, which has seamlessly supported my transition into the field of occupational therapy. Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated a deep appreciation for holistic, client-centered care. My coursework and clinical experiences have strengthened my communication, critical thinking, and adaptability—skills that are essential in today’s evolving healthcare landscape. I am currently seeking opportunities to grow professionally through fieldwork, research, mentorship, and interprofessional collaboration. My ultimate goal is to serve diverse populations with compassion, integrity, and creativity, while contributing to the advancement of occupational therapy practice.
