About Alyssa Wurst

May 2019 graduating senior at North Carolina State University earning a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Media. While in college, my studies and experiences have helped hone my skills as an effective communicator, confident public speaker, creative problem solver, determined leader, and collaborative team player. I am currently seeking career opportunities in communication, broadcasting, social media development, or promotions in the sports industry. Tremendously passionate about sports, not only as a form of entertainment, but more importantly as a means for community outreach. Competitive swimming taught me life lessons in personal responsibility, time management, determination, and teamwork. As a swim coach, I was able to pass along those lessons, as well as, the valuable and lifesaving skill of swimming, to the youth in my community. Extremely motivated to make a difference in the Sports Industry world, which possesses the ability to affect the community at large on a much grander scale. Technically skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Proficient in social media platforms, WordPress, and Audacity. I welcome connection requests from N.C.
