About Ama Brown

I have had 5 years of direct sales experience and over 15 years of service experience. In those 15 years I have had the opportunity to provide administrative support for several hotels. Working as the front office manager it was my privilege to train front desk staff and communicate directly with each department. It was my job to assure our guests received the best possible service when interacting with the hotel. With my ability to use those skills effectively I earned a chance to be part of the sales team. Starting as the Sales Coordinator for the hotel it was my job to communicate with both the sales managers and guests to assure their events were executed to their exact specifications. Clear and concise communication was necessary in order to be highly effective in my position. Understanding each person's personal communication style and preference was a chief matter I took to heart. My heart for service drives me to be the best part of someone's day. I would love to be that for your team. The past year has allowed me the opportunity to grow my skills in technology. I’m proficient in Outlook, Excel, and MS Word which are standard in the hospitality world. I’m also proficient in the use of google docs. This has been quite useful in this Covid-19 era of digital collaboration and communication. I have also had the opportunity to sharpen my skills in the use of Zoom. This has also been a great benefit in the time of social distancing.
