About Amaan Sattar

Amaan Sattar is the Vice President of Engineering and Program Management Excellence for the Integrated Mission Systems segment at L3Harris Technologies. L3Harris Technologies is the Trusted Disruptor for the global aerospace and defense industry. With customers’ mission-critical needs always in mind, the corporation's more than employees deliver end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea and cyber domains. In this role, Sattar is responsible for all engineering and effective business and program execution across a $7B annual revenue global portfolio encompassing aircraft, maritime, cyber and space solutions. Sattar is also responsible for leading over engineering and program management professionals within his organization. Prior to joining L3Harris, Sattar was the General Manager of Lockheed Martin's Laser and Sensor Systems business, a high technology and growth area within the corporation which included Directed Energy, Laser Weapon Systems, and Countermeasure Systems. Sattar is a proven executive within the Aerospace and Defense industry having held roles in General Management, Strategy, Profit and Loss, and technical leadership across Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman prior to his role at L3Harris. Sattar received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master’s degree in Systems and Industrial Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) all from the University of Florida. Sattar is also a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University’s Executive Program Management program.
