As a deal partner at Ganas Ventures, a venture capital firm that focuses on pre-seed and seed investments in Web 2 and Web 3 startups, I leverage my entrepreneurial, operational, and investment experience to find and source deals, conduct due diligence, and support portfolio companies. With over 14 years of investing in various sectors, such as biotech, green energy, cannabis, and AI, I have a keen eye for identifying innovative and disruptive ideas and technologies that can create positive social and environmental impact. I hold an MBA from the University of Michigan, a PhD and an MS in Applied Economics and Finance from Oakland University, and a Masters in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. I also have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics with a minor in Molecular Biology and Physics from MIT. My diverse and interdisciplinary background enables me to understand and analyze complex and dynamic problems from multiple perspectives and apply creative and holistic solutions. I am passionate about fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence among founders, investors, and stakeholders. Additionally, as an accomplished executive producer, I have successfully overseen numerous film projects, delivering impactful and acclaimed content across various genres. Currently, I am collaborating with Pantheum Studios and Euldora Financial, leveraging their recent partnership with FUBU's studio arm, For Us By Us Studios, to create innovative and culturally resonant film and television productions. This strategic alliance aims to amplify diverse voices and stories, aligning with my commitment to fostering inclusive and dynamic entertainment experiences. I am bilingual in English, Japanese, Mandarin, and Arabic. This allows me to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I enjoy learning and practicing these languages every day. And use those languages professionally.
