About Amalia Enache

I am an architect, educator, and cultural project manager with a strong focus on architectural education and professional development. As the Coordinator of the Education and Continuous Professional Development Department at the Romanian Order of Architects (OAR), I design and implement training programs that support architects’ growth while also developing educational initiatives for the general public. I hold a PhD in Architecture from the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism (UAUIM), where I currently teach Basics of Design as an Assistant Lecturer. My doctoral research explored architectural education for non-architects, examining ways to make knowledge about the built environment more accessible and relevant to society. Beyond academia, I continue to practice architecture through AA | Atelier de Arhitectura, working on a diverse range of projects, from housing to public space interventions. I also engage in educational volunteering, particularly with De-a Arhitectura, where I promote architecture awareness among children and young people. With experience spanning architectural design, academic teaching, cultural management, and professional training, I am committed to bridging the gap between architects and the broader community, fostering a more informed and engaged society.
