About Aman Avinash

Hello, I'm Aman Avinash, a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, majoring in Computer Engineering. My journey began at Mountain House High School, where I cultivated a passion for learning and dedicated myself to excelling in both Computer Science and Business. Over the years, I've pursued this passion through school and additional college courses, always striving for continuous growth and development. Throughout my professional journey, I've had the privilege of gaining diverse experiences that have shaped my skills and character. As a Code Tutor at Code Ninjas, I enjoyed helping young students grasp the fundamentals of coding languages like block coding, JavaScript, and C#. Watching their progress and excitement was incredibly rewarding. My role as a Soccer Referee with the U.S. Soccer Federation taught me the importance of leadership, fair play, and effective communication, all while ensuring a positive environment on the field. I also had the honor of founding and leading the MHHS Indian Student Association, where I organized community events and cultural programs that celebrated our rich heritage and fostered unity among students. My involvement with DECA allowed me to wear many hats, from Head Website Developer and Social Media Executive to Lead Brand Manager and Consultant, honing my skills in branding and marketing. Participating in various work experience programs has been equally enriching. At JPMorgan Chase, I developed an interface to assist traders with stock price data, and at KPMG, I delved into data analytics for customer targeting. The Cisco Career Exploration Program provided hands-on workshops and invaluable networking opportunities, while the Norman Mineta Bay Area Summer Academy offered a deep dive into the complexities of managing a large transportation organization. These experiences, along with accolades such as placing third and fourth at the California State Career Development Conference and being in the Top 10 Overall at the International Career Development Conference, have fueled my drive for continuous improvement and excellence. I'm excited about the future and eager to bring my skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to new challenges and opportunities.
