As a young professional with a BA in English Literature, a minor in Professional Writing and a DEC in Liberal Arts who now has a career in Marketing (a field that I was told was out of reach for someone with my education), I am growing more and more confident in the value of a Humanities and Arts education. On LinkedIn, I aim to share my experience as I journey through my career in hopes of connecting with other professionals and Humanities students in similar situations. I'm passionate about inspiring others to think more openly about education in the Arts & Humanities. I love to listen and read stories and help others write their own. I believe in the power of words on paper, and how they connect and inspire people. Now, A Little About My Career: At Altasciences, I help connect biopharma, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies connect with Altasciences through brand storytelling. I lead a team consisting of a Marketing Specialist and a Content Writer and Editor. Together, we create content and build strategies to elevate the Altasciences brand, ultimately helping sponsors find their drug development solution partner in Altasciences. Within seven years at Skyfold, I grew from a part-time office assistant to an Administrative Assistant to a Digital Marketing Coordinator. During this time, I went back to university to earn a diploma in Social Media Marketing & Web Applications. I've now taken my passion for communication, copyediting, and digital content to the next phase of my career as a Digital Marketing Coordinator in early phase drug development for Altasciences. Some of my recent accomplishments include revamping Skyfold's website, which involved launching and writing content for their blog.
